Guess Who's Going To NYU

It's only been a week back on campus and already so much has happened. I was accepted to NYU on Wednesday for graduate school and I've been celebrating ever since. I've wanted to go to NYU since I was a child and my mom attended. Speaking of my mom, she may be the only person more excited than I am. She wanted to me to attend her alma mater for undergraduate study but I knew Penn State was the right choice. Now I get the best of both worlds.

Now that the week is over and I'm done celebrating,I think it may be time to go back to concentrating on this last semester. It would be a damn shame if with everything I have going for me after graduation, I lose focus and don't graduate. We're not having that.

P.S. Ariana Grande also followed me on Twitter this week (check earlier posts to see how much I love her). I freaked out for about 6 hours before I could finally pull myself together.

My Last Semester

After spending a month during my winter break working for Woman's Day magazine, I am finally back at school. I started my final semester today and I'm very excited because regardless of how things go I'm done in about 4 months. I plan on enjoying every day that I have left as a college student.

As for my internship at Woman's Day, it definitely opened my eyes to a lot of things in the industry. I'm actually starting to develop an interest in Public Relations and I think if I decide to go the magazine route, PR is the field in which I would fit in. I'm happy I survived. I went straight from a Fall internship at AccuWeather to a Winter internship with Woman's Day with no days off. Ironically, I'll probably get more rest now that the semester is starting.

I originally planned on not doing much this semester but I was recently offered a Contributing Writer position with USA Today College and that's not something a sane person turns down. I'm also excited to announce I'm interning with Mugglenet this semester. This is something I'm doing just out of fun because I love Harry Potter and this is as close to writing for The Daily Prophet as I can get.
