Womans Day Week 1

I recently wrapped up my first week working for WomansDay.com. Working for a magazine is the final thing in college I wanted to do before I graduate. It's exciting to know that within my first week I can already say I've been published. You can read my articles every day as part of the Woman's Day Daily Buzz blog. The articles listed below are what I've written this week.

Winners of 'The X Factor' Season 3 Announced

Credit Card Breach Could Affect Nearly 40 Million Target Customers

Students Evacuated Due to Bomb Threat at Harvard University

Man Shot and Killed At Short Hills Mall While Defending Wife

Be sure to leave any feedback. I greatly appreciate it.

The last few weeks of school were really brutal. Fall semester got the best of me which means spring semester better fear for it's life. I'm trying to going to make Dean's List next semester. I graduate in May so I figure why not end strong. I started a wintership at Woman's Day magazine. It's really taking a toll on me but I'm gonna give it my best shot and let you know how I feel about the magazine industry when it ends. NOW ON TO MORE IMPORTANT THINGS!!!! THE QUEEN HAS SPOKEN...actually she didn't say anything at all. Queen Beyonce released an album this past week and didn't say a damn thing about it. Just released the album and went back to eating her veggies with Jay. Not to mention it's a damn visual album. So the woman put 17 videos on the thing. I had to delete so many photos to make space for that album. And it cost $15.99. Do you think I care? She can have some more of my money if she want it. The album is so sexual too. Bey came out of her shell. Like I seriously can't take it. What's more? I see the Queen this Sunday at Barclays center. I don't know how I'm going to act. But if she sings Partition/Yonce I'm gonna lose it.

Black Friday

I love shopping I find it as one of the best forms of therapy. But there's one day a year when I stay as far away from it as possible and that's Black Friday. The amount of people willing to trample and hurt each other just to save $50 has become pathetic. Look at this line at Macys...

This is absolutely ridiculous. There was once a time when Black Friday was actually enjoyable. My mom and I used to travel to Woodbury Commons together. The stores would have deals that were actually worth it and it was never as crowded as they are now. But now, Black Friday has completely taken over Thanksgiving. There is no reason for you to open your store at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. We're eating dinner. So while the crazies are outside killing each other for a TV. I'll be shopping from my computer anticipating the better deals that will be available on Cyber Monday. Seriously people the best deals are online. Join us in the 21st century.

iParty with Ariana Grande

arianayourstrulyemail

Today I attended a holiday party for one of my favorite singers Ariana Grande. I shall not explain who she is, because you should really know by now. She held her holiday party at Roseland Ballroom in New York City for a few fans. Well actually a few is an understatement.

Ariana Grande_christmas_evite_NY

In case you're wondering why the invite says Best Buy Theatre instead of Roseland Ballroom, that's because the party had to be relocated to hold all of the Arianators. I don't think they anticipated how many of her fans were going to come out. I met people who traveled all the way from Memphis...

I know this line looks bad, but it was actually much worst. And yes it was raining. But it was worth it. I ran into Frankie J (Ariana's brother) outside. When we finally got inside Frankie started the party by twerking for us. And I don't mean Miley Cyrus twerking. His butt actually moved.

It wasn't long until the girl of the hour came out. Ariana looked cute as ever. Can we have a doll made after her? Ariana had a quick Q&A with her brother about everything she's doing now and of course winning that Best New Artist category from the American Music Awards.

Even though it wasn't a concert, she still sung for us (because lets face it, she can't help it). She sung her new Christmas song Last Christmas from her upcoming Christmas EP. Here's a snippet of her singing. After you fall in love with her voice, buy the full song from iTunes.

While I had a blast, I have to admit it was a bit unorganized. And unfortunately some of the guests acted as if they had no home-training or common sense. But Ariana Grande is such a sweetheart. She answered as many questions as possible from the audience and it was great to finally hear her live and shake her hand. I'm already waiting for whenever the next tour dates arrive so that I can buy tickets. But that's for a future post.

This past weekend I had the time of my life at Teen Vogue Fashion University. I spent the weekend learning about the ins and outs of the fashion industry from top designers, stylists, editors and entrepreneurs. The weekend was also filled with fun social events like a kick off party at Express and shopping event at Topshop.

I actually missed the kickoff event that Friday at Express because I was on the 5 hour bus ride from Penn State to New York (womp, womp). Of course I attended the actual day-long event on Saturday filled with classes and seminars . The day kicked off with a panel led by editors from Teen Vogue. This is where I met the amazing Amy Astley, editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue. The editors talked alot about what it takes to survive in the magazine industry and how you really have to be ambitious and driven to succeed. As "fabulous" as the industry looks on the outside, it's actually really cut-throat and without being persistent you won't get far.

After the Teen Vogue editors panel, each "Fashion U" student then attended their own schedule of classes led by leaders in the industry. My first seminar was led by DanniJo.

I actually didn't know much about DanniJo before TVFU but I'm so happy I went to this seminar and had the opportunity to meet them. They're sisters who didn't even have a background in fashion and one day decided they wanted to start their own jewelry accessories company and now their products are worn by top celebrities and has become an international brand. I was just amazed by that because I don't have a background in fashion or much experience either. My experience is in entertainment. But it's encouraging to know that as long as I'm willing to put forth the work I can be just as successful as the next person even if they have more experience in the industry than me.

In between classes Teen Vogue had fun activities for us to take part in like getting our hair done by stylists, signing up to be a Teen Vogue It Girl, getting our "aura" future told (much more fun than it sounds) and of course a photo booth set up for us to take pictures.

http://galleries.thedigitalphotobooth.com/CORPORATE-EVENTS/Teen-Vogue-Fashion-U/i-4mjjjR8/0/L/39955_mvsstudio-L.jpg

Other speakers at TVFU included Coco Rocha, Christian Siriano, Alexa Chung, Oscar PR Girl and editors from Vogue.

After the seminars on Saturday we went shopping at Topshop with a 15% discount off the entire store just for us! Oh and mind you, freaking Jourdan Dunn was there! I shopped with a top fashion model! Can we just digest that information for a minute because I'm still kind of freaking out.

So what did I get out of Teen Vogue Fashion University? Other than an awesome swag bag filled with goodies like Bvlgari perfume and hearing from top professionals, I ended up meeting a PR rep from Express at the Express seminar I attended on Saturday and I gave him my information. He loved my online portfolio so much he invited me for an interview later this year which could lead to an internship. I attended this event hoping to get my foot in the door for Fashion PR and I ended up getting a foot, arm and leg in the room.

We kicked off the last day of TVFU with a seminar led by editors from Vogue and a movie from Vogue called The Editor's Eye. It all ended with graduation. We received our diplomas and Amy Astley signed them herself which was such a big deal to me because she's one of my inspirations and I hope to follow in her footsteps.

Oh and Teen Vogue commented on my graduation photo and I just can't hide my excitement about that either.

All in all, it was an amazing successful event and I am definitely applying to attend next year! #FashionU #ClassOf2013

If you have any questions about TVFU feel free to comment and I'll to do my best to answer :)

Goodbye Finn

I haven't watched Glee in years so I don't consider myself a Gleek, but that show introduced me to new faces of talent the day it premiered and one of those faces was Cory Monteith.

This past Thursday, Glee aired their tribute episode for Cory Monteith/Finn Hudson and I think it was perfectly done. They didn't talk about how Finn passed which I think was the right thing to do. They didn't shy away from Cory's drug problems but as Kurt explained it's not about how he died, but how he lived.

While I'm really not a fan of Naya Rivera, her performance was my favorite. She broke down during her rendition of "If I Die Young" and I don't believe she was acting. Even her scene with Sue Sylvester was real and I think it was a great way to get Sue to say her goodbye to Finn as well since her character is just so mean to everyone. But when Santana just screamed in the middle of the song and ran away, I find it hard to believe that was in the script. That was all Naya.

I really wished Rachel Berry could have been in more of the episode but I understand why she wasn't. Considering all that Lea Michele was going through at the time I commend her for finding the strength to be apart of it at all. The way she sang "Make You Feel My Love" turned me into an emotional wreck. When she called him "her person." You could see that fine line between Lea showing how much Rachel loved Finn and how much she loved Cory.

I think the episode was a great way to say Goodbye to Finn as well as Cory. It even had a few comedic points to lighten the mood. Of course Finn's jacket became a symbol. With his brother Kurt wanting to keep it, and then Kurt giving it to Santana only for it to be stolen. Everyone thinks Puck has it since he stole the tree dedicated to Finn and has been desperate for something to remember Finn by, especially the jacket. But we later find out Mr. Schuester has it and he cries for the first time in the episode. By the end, I really wanted the jacket for myself too. Goodbye Quarterback.

I am going to make a more conscious effort to update my blog at least once a week. It can be really hard to do when you're juggling a full schedule of classes as well as an internship but I will do my best. As for what I've been up to...

This past weekend I attended Internships 101, an event hosted by Seventeen Magazine. It was held at the Hearst building where Seventeen resides in New York. Even though I rsvp'd for the event, it was still first come first served which meant there was a chance I wouldn't get in. My plan was to get there by at least 11 a.m. since it started at 1 p.m. My slow behind never made it there until around 12:20 p.m. When I got there the line was ridiculous but I had a good feeling I would make it in. 20 minutes later the line became even longer and wrapped around the building. I later found out they were only taking 150 people. Luckily I was one of those 150.

We were escorted (with cameras following us...yikes!) upstairs to a conference room. Actually it felt more like a cinema. There we met Ann Shoket, the editor-in-chief of Seventeen Magazine. She hosted the beginning of the event and gave some great advice about acing the internship interview. Next we met Howard Grier, the Associate Publisher of Marketing at Seventeen. He gave great advice about how to construct a resume and cover letter to catch the eye of employers. I got to talk to him after the presentation and he helped me polish up my resume. The presentation also featured a mini fashion show by the Seventeen Style Pros of some of the things you can wear to various jobs regardless of whether it's in the fashion industry or just a normal office setting. Some other amazing people that shared a few words were Amy Levin, Founder of Collegefashionista.com and Lauren Berger, Founder of Intern Queen.

After the panel we got to talk to some of the speakers as well as enjoy a few snacks. I browsed some of the clothing options because I still need to figure out what I'm wearing to Teen Vogue Fashion University. I also met an alumni who works there in sales (can you say connection?!). I even made some new friends who seem to be geared toward the same path as me.

Overall the event was amazing. I was interviewed by Seventeen following the event so hopefully I end up on the website. I would definitely go again if they do it next year. It's a great way to network. I even walked away with a goodie bag and won a prize filled with internship essentials.

Teen Vogue Fashion University

So I'm really excited to announce I was accepted to Teen Vogue Fashion University yesterday. It's a really big deal to me because I've wanted to be apart of this event for years and I've never been accepted. It just shows that if at first you don't succeed, you should always try again. So I'm really excited about that. I get to meet Teen Vogue editors and hear from top fashion professionals. I hope this experience is as great as I believe it will be. Overall my senior year is off to an okay start. I need to make a few changes I believe to make it the way I want to be but hopefully that wont be a problem.

Just wanted to post this video of one of my favorite singers, Ariana Grande. In honor of her new album Yours Truly coming out today, I wanted to share her performance this morning of her singing The Way live. She has an amazing voice and her album is superb. I also love her because she's doesn't act out or wear crazy outfits for attention or to get her album to sell. She relies solely on her talent and that's become seldom now a days. I do hope this album leads to her winning a Grammy because I think she deserves it. It's currently #1 in 30 countries so no matter what awards she wins she's already a success and the whole world knows it.

Summer 2013 and a new semester

How do I describe summer 2013? In one word I would have to call it amazing! I went to movie premieres, met Mark Wahlberg, Brian Williams, and Andy Cohen. Not to mention my internship at iVillage was the best I ever had and I didn't want to leave. I have a plan in my head of how I want the next few months and this semester to go. Of course, who knows what may happen. If all goes according to plan, I'll be back in New York permanently in 2014. That I'm really excited about! I hope I don't go from an amazing summer to an awful semester. I'm really sad my internship is over. It was my first taste of the entertainment industry and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do hope this leads to plenty more opportunities in the future. Here's to what I hope will be an amazing semester. My goal is make deans list.

2 more weeks

Once again it's been a while since I've updated. It's not a bad thing considering I've only been lacking in the blogging department because I've been busy working. I can't believe I only have 2 more weeks until I have to go back to school. It's crazy. I'm not trying to go back. Thankfully, I get to take all of my classes in the Spring online so I only have a few months to spend on campus. On the bright side, last weekend I saw the Queen Beyonce perform. It was so amazing I bought tickets for her show in December. So once I go back to school all i have to do is last until December 22. My schedule is pretty light so I shouldn't feel too much under pressure. Good Night.

Been a month since I've Posted

Wow. It's been a week since I last posted anything here. I thought it had been only a week or two. I'm seriously losing track of time. My internship with iVillage/NBC has been going extremely well. I do need to budget my money better. I'm getting paid very well but I'm spending my money on everything...mostly food haha. I've also been given opportunities to work with Teen Vogue and Seventeen magazine. My mind has already been on next semester. I'm really in no rush to start school again but since this is my last semester on campus I kind of just want to get it over with. I've decided to create a list of goals I want to achieve before my senior year is over. I think it's important to do things like that so you never forget what you're working so hard for. That way when things get tough you won't lost that ambition that will make it all worth it in the end. Anyways I'm signing off now. I'll make a conscious effort to update more.

Internship Playlist

So my internship with NBC/iVillage kicks off tomorrow and I'm so excited. This internship has a lot to do with entertainment and I think if I really apply myself I'll have a better understanding of what I want to do when I graduate in a year. Wow! That felt weird to say. I graduate in a year. Yikes!

Anyways, in an effort to really get into diva mode (work mode, serious mode, time to take over the world mode) I decided to make an internship playlist. To keep me focused on what I should be doing and what this all means for my present and future.

Internship Playlist

1) Grown Woman - Beyonce
My new theme song for the summer. It's message is pretty clear. Do what you want, live life to the fullest and be happy. If anything gets in the way of that get rid of it from your life. It's okay to make mistakes and it's even okay to be a little bad. You're grown. Do whatever you want!

2) The Way - Ariana Grande
So this song is just one of my overall favorite songs of the summer. It has such a sweet summer vibe. While it doesn't put me in a "work mood" and it does have more a summer love theme to it, I included it on my list because I need not forget that it is summer. And while working hard is the most important thing to me, it's also important to enjoy this break before I go back to school. And this song makes me just want to run in the sand on a beach with Channing Tatum.

3)  Can't Hold Us - Macklemore ft Ryan Lewis
This song is just fire and if you understand why it's on my list you should know it's in the title. Nothing can hold me back from pursuing my dreams this summer and making the most out of this internship. And it doesn't stop at my internship. I need to take advantage of networking opportunities and everything else I can get my hands on. The only limit is the one I set myself and I refuse to set any. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when a man has walked on the moon.

I have a feeling this playlist will be probably get longer as the summer progresses. But for now, these songs are really helping me stay focused with a smile.

First day of my internship

So after a few dilemmas, I was able to finally start my internship with NBC/iVillage.
I'm really excited for this internship because it has so much of an entertainment focus and that's all I focus on anyways. I really can't think of anything better than getting paid to look at pictures of celebrities and write about it.

I think if I really apply myself at this internship, I'll have a better understanding of what I want to do when I graduate in a year. Wow! That felt weird to say. I graduate in a year. Yikes!

I hope this opportunity brings out the best in me. I have a year to get myself together. A year until I have to really be an adult but also a year to enjoy just being a student. But I don't plan on just being a student. I want to intern the next two semesters and really build my resume. I want to really stand out to employers and have some kind of an idea of what I'm going to do when I cross that stage at graduation.

But before I get too deep into the future, I need to deal with the present. And the present is this internship. I'm going to do the best I can and leave it in God's hands.

P.S. I'm also looking forward to the awesome events NBCUniversal has planned for their interns this summer. I need to meet more people and network.

Necole Bitchie

This is going to be a rather short post but I just wanted to do a little dedication to my favorite blogger on the web Necole Bitchie. She's a gorgeous woman who had hit rock bottom in her life at one point and did all that could do...which was blog. She managed to turn blogging into a full time career and has become extremely successful off her blog NecoleBitchie.com.

I visit this site everyday for news about my favorite artists and just to know what's happening in the entertainment world. Necole has become so popular she's regularly invited to big events, she's won a soul train award for best soul site and today she was listed as one of Hello Beautiful's 25 Women to Know.

I've had the pleasure of talking to her via twitter a few times and I hope I can find my place in the entertainment industry the way she has. I don't see myself as a celebrity blogger but I still envy her job. I think she's the perfect example of never letting anyone keep you from what you want to do. And that if others wont give you an opportunity, you have to make one for yourself. So congrats to Necole on her success.

...now that I think about it, Necole didn't see herself as a celebrity blogger either and somehow she found herself where she is now. I think as long as you work hard and keep your head you'll always end up where you're supposed to be.

Signing off...

Hit the Floor

Please excuse the random title of my post. I'm watching a show called Hit the Floor and it's pretty interesting but it has nothing to do with my post really.

I attended my NBCUniversal orientation and learned a lot about the overall program. I'm really excited for my internship this summer especially since it's paid this year unlike last summer. I'm also really excited for all of the events and opportunities available. I'm really trying to network and meet people in the line of business I want to get into. I'm still not positive of what I want to do but I'm pretty sure it has to be in the entertainment industry for me to be happy. Thankfully, I'm interning for one of the most successful entertainment companies in the world so I will do my best to take advantage of everything they offer me.

I also attended an ED2010 event last week. It was a panel on How to Become a Top-Notch Fashion Writer or Editor. I met editors from some of the top magazines in New York such as InStyle, Glamour, and Elle. I plan on sending them Thank you notes so that they'll remember me and we can build a better professional relationship. Networking is a job of it's own. But it's so crucial and important for rising seniors such as myself trying to get an advantage in a really tough industry.

I do believe that is all to share. My summers off to a pretty slow start professionally but I think it's going to really pick up within the next week. Which means this is probably my last week of freedom. Better make the most of it.

Been a While

It's been a while since I've posted. I've been under the weather and pretty busy. Feeling a little stressed out. I can't wait for my daily summer routine to kick in so I can get out of the house more and start gaining experience in digital media and entertainment.

I hope this summer goes extremely well for me. I also have an ED2010 panel I'm attending on Wednesday on How to Become a Top-Notch Fashion Writer. Hoping to learn alot as well as meet new people.

Side-Note:
I received free tickets to see The Internship starring Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. Definitely enjoying the movie perks I've been getting this summer. If all else fails I wouldn't mind reviewing movies for the rest of my life.

The Great Gatsby Review

The fourth adaptation of F.Scott Fitzgerald's 1925 novel has given Iron Man a run for it's money this past weekend. But while the movie is doing financially well many critics say the film just does not live up to expectation.

Overall, the film isn't bad. It's not spectacular. I wouldn't blame anyone for waiting until the movie came to TV screens. But it's decent. Many of the actors just weren't believable. You have to understand, when you bring a book to the big screen it is crucial to make those characters come to life. Fans of the book have visions of these characters and if you don't deliver you'll fail in their eyes.

I believe that's what made the movie fall. However, one actor in this movie that delivered and successfully brought their character to the big screen is Leonardo DiCaprio. In his role, DiCaprio embraced everything Gatsby was. Even I, after over 10 years of having a crush on DiCaprio, forgot about the actor behind the character. On that screen, he was only Gatsby.

It's unfortunate that even with Leonardo DiCaprio's amazing performance the overall film failed to deliver. I really want DiCaprio to win his Oscar and I hope even with the lackluster performance of the film, people will still see the brilliance of DiCaprio's acting.

So in conclusion, the overall film was okay but failed to live up to the hype. The only person who rose to the occasion was the one and only Leonardo DiCaprio.  It's worth seeing for any fan of the novel or any fan of DiCaprio's.

Scandal

I know I said I would post a review of The Great Gatsby but I decided to post it tomorrow when the movie is in theaters. I have an interview in the morning so this will be a short post.

Mostly, my mind is still on that Scandal episode. OH MY GOD! Of all the people I thought was the mole, David Rosen was never it.

Also, I saw the trailer earlier for Trey Songz (my favorite man in the world) new movie. The man is mostly naked in it AND HAD WATER GOING DOWN HIS BODY.

Here's the trailer in case you haven't seen it. Thank you God for the work you put into making Trey Songz. Until tomorrow, old sport (yes I'm still saying that from The Great Gatsby).

Party like Gatsby

May 8, 2013

Just got in from a pre-screening of The Great Gatsby. The movie was decent but Leonardo DiCaprio was phenomenal. I'll post my movie review tomorrow. I definitely felt like a movie star. VIP entry, free popcorn, free drinks. If only Khadija was 21, we could've went to the after party at 40/40 club. Oh well. I still had a great time. I can't complain.

I also found out DJ Pauly D will be in New York on Friday. I have been trying to see this boy for two years now so you better believe I'm going.

Now on to something more personal. I think it's time for people to do a better job of learning the difference between friends and acquaintances. This is something I can say I definitely struggle with. I'm someone who can become quickly attached to people I meet. And I too easily start to call people my friend. This is something that need's to stop. Friends want to be around you. They don't care how much money you have, or what you can do for them. They generally like you as a person and will look out for you. Acquaintances will use you for what they need and they could really care less about what's happens with you next. The positive thing about acquaintances, if you get to know the right people, is they can pull strings for you. But if you're acquaintances with people who can't do anything for you, then you end up with the ones who use you for what you got but won't even spend 2 hours to see a movie with you. How does this tie into Gatsby? *Spoiler Alert* Well think about all the people who used him for his parties and his money, but who showed up to his funeral? Only one person. Moral of the story is be careful of the company you keep. Make sure you know who has your back and who doesn't. And I'll end my ranting there.

Until tomorrow old sport!

P.S. I finally sold my spare ticket to Beyonce's concert at Barclay's Center on August 8. PAYDAY!!!

Time Career Fair

May 7, 2013

Just finished a virtual career fair with Time, Inc. Working on sending my resume and information to them now. Working for any of their publications would be an absolute honor. I think my particular favorite would be Entertainment Weekly. At the very least, I'm happy I had the opportunity to network with professionals at an amazing company. Wish me luck on my future endeavors.

My favorite Entertainment Weekly cover.

Met Gala

So of course I want to show my favorite outfits from last nights Met Ball.

1)
Round of applause for Ms. Anne Hathaway. I mean the woman always looks gorgeous but my God she has taken fashion to another level with this dress. Absolutely taken back with both this dress and her in general.

2)
Hermione Granger is no more. Emma Watson has grown into a beautiful woman and I love how she takes this dress which is a little risque but makes it look really classy. Not many could pull that off. Side Note: I'm excited for her movies this summer! I love you Hermione Emma.

3)

While I'm not a big fan of the dress, I'm a big fan of Beyonce in this dress. Does that make sense? I guess what I'm trying to say is, I have a lot of respect for people that make the dress look beautiful instead of needing a dress to make them beautiful. I don't think anyone else would've looked good in this dress but Beyonce. Then again, it really doesn't matter what Beyonce wore. I still would've said she was beautiful.

Of course, these were not the only great outfits. Miley Cyrus (although I wasn't a fan of her hair), Jennifer Lawrence and Nicki Minaj were also great. Who wore your favorite outfit at the Mets Gala?

OH! And while we're on the subject.

Who's grandma gave Kim K their curtains to wear to the gala? I wont be too harsh on her. When you're pregnant you should be able to get away with these things...but my gosh. Kim you have no talent to speak of. The one thing you have owned I must say since you were "introduced" to us was fashion. If you're not going to be fierce with your outfits then I really don't know your purpose in entertainment. But like I said she's pregnant, lets give her a break.

New Opportunities

May 06, 2013

Today I received tickets to be apart of the live audience at Jenny McCarthy's new show on Thursday but no one will go with me so I guess that's a no go. On the plus side, I was invited to a pre screening of the Great Gatsby and I just found out my favorite blogger Necole Bitchie is hosting it. I'm going with my friend/angel sister Khadija. They're also having an after party at the 40/40 club but Dija's not 21 yet. But I'm happy to be living true to my promise. This summer will not be all work no play. I'm gonna enjoy myself.

Also, here's a picture from Justin Timberlake's concert at Roseland Ballroom. I attended this past weekend. I imagine he saw me and thought to himself "hmmm I wonder what my wife is doing in the audience."

I plan on attending his upcoming tour as well. Would anyone like to join me?

Always busy but happy

May 6, 2013

I literally just finished applying for summer internships and I already have to apply for internships in the fall. It'll all be worth it I suppose in the end. I hope I can get a decent one that's flexible with my class schedule. As for the Justin Timberlake concert, I was all the way in the back but we caught up with him afterwards and he kissed my hand. I guess I really shouldn't be complaining about anything in life again huh?

Start of my Summer

Very excited to see Justin Timberlake at Roseland Ballroom tomorrow. I also won tickets today to attend the Great Gatsby pre-screening on Wednesday and the after party at 40/40 club. My summer vacation has just gotten started and it's already epic. I really want to make this the best summer ever since I have to start being an adult this time next year.
